Oakland Auto Body believes that we employ the finest craftsmen in the automobile collision reconstruction industry.  Employees working on your vehicle are paid on a salary basis rather than the standard industry commission compensation, and are rewarded for quality repairs rather than speedy repairs.  Our employees and managers are I-CAR trained according to automobile manufacturers’ recommended repair procedures.  We have been in business since 1957, and at this location since 1976.  We are company owned and not a franchise.  We use the finest parts, paints and materials currently available and are fully equipped to handle any type of collision or paint repair efficiently and correctly.

Therefore, we are able to guarantee our collision repairs, paint work and striping for as long as you own your vehicle, with proper maintenance (see below for disclosure).

Maintenance Instructions

1. Wash vehicle as needed, making sure to use a proper car wash solution and cold water.  Never use hot water.  This is a sure way of shortening the life of any paint finish.

2. Do not wax refinished areas for approximately 4-6 weeks.  After that time span, wax may be applied.  Make sure wax is applied in the shade and when the paint surface is cool.

3. Caution should be used when filling up your fuel tank.  Gasoline may damage fresh paint.

Guarantee

Oakland Auto Body agrees to repair any paint failure due to faulty workmanship on surfaces which we have refinished.  Not covered by this guarantee are chips and scratches due to contact with painted surface by a foreign object, rush, chemical stains or damage, lacquer checking or grazing of substrate paint finish.
